BUSINESS CARDS

You Will Need:
• To include information such as a website URL, contact name and phone number and basic information about the need for people to join the National Marrow Registry.
• A basic design and layout whether simple text or text with a photo or graphic illustration.

Cost: You can print the cards yourself if you have a home computer and printer or send in a file to a print shop in your local area or order them online to be shipped to you.

Why have a Business Card?
Whether you set up a blog or website a business card is a must have to send people to your site to learn about your need. If you tell people without giving the the url the chances of them remembering the web address and going to visit it are slim. A business card is a low cost way to help spread the word.

Where to hand them out:
  • You can hand them out to people you meet.
  • Give them to friends, family members and supporters to hand out to people they know.
  • Leave a stack anywhere you can on shop counters or even pinned to community bulletin boards.
  • To further your reach package them up in small envelopes or cellophane sleeves and ask others to hand them out to people they know. We packaged Tami's cards 10 per pack and asked people who wanted to help to tell 10 friends.
  • You can also hand out packets of 10 at live donor drives. We used them at Tami's drives, if someone said they were already in the registry we would ask them if they wanted to help us out by passing along 10 cards to people they know. Almost everyone was happy to help and took the cards with them.
  • Once you have your cards you can also make them available on your website if you have one. CLICK HERE to view the page set up here on Marrow Drives.org where you can order some cards for the Helping Janet Donor Drive effort.
